For over 20 years, I’ve been the Executive Producer of The Amazing Hunt — a local, independently produced race competition inspired by The Amazing Race, with 37 seasons created in Vancouver, Canada. Through two decades of grassroots production, I’ve learned that the magic of a race isn’t just about where you go — it’s about the choices you make, the pressure you face, the dynamics between players, and the unexpected moments that change everything.
Designing live reality games year after year has given me a deep understanding of what truly works — what creates tension, what excites players, and what keeps people coming back. It has also taught me how to distill those moments into something meaningful and replayable.
